Please read these terms carefully before using our services

2. Scope

These terms apply to all purchases and bookings made via https://quiksilverlagos.com for surf-lessons, equipment rentals, café events and merchandise.


3. Contract Formation

  1. The product pages are an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
  2. By completing checkout you submit a binding offer.
  3. We accept by sending an order confirmation via e-mail or WhatsApp.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are in euros (EUR) and include Portuguese VAT.

We accept payment by cash, credit card, MB Way and PayPal at the shop; online pre-payment is via Stripe.

Discounts

The 10% discount is valid only on specific products and can't be added to ongoing promotion, can't be used for activities and rentals.


5. Performance of Services

  • Surf-lesson participants must be at least 6 years old and be able to swim.
  • Rentals require presentation of ID and a deposit. Equipment must be returned undamaged and on time.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule lessons due to weather or safety concerns.
Surf Lessons

We are a booking center and we collaborate with all the schools of the area. After your experience, we would be happy to hear how it was as we take feedback in a serious way and we want to provide a good service.

Health Statement

Please be aware that all the activities are not recommended if you have health issues or if you are pregnant.

Rental Insurance

The insurance, 3€ per day per item, covers up to 30€ damages. All the rental products have been checked before rental from our staff, please double check the equipment yourself as well and notify anything you think it's worth a notice.


6. Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy

For physical goods you have a 14-day EU withdrawal right.

Services (lessons, rentals) that are scheduled within the withdrawal period start only after you expressly request this and acknowledge the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Art. 16 ltr. a Consumer Rights Directive).

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation for full refund must be made before 4pm one day before the activity. Example: Activity booked for the 20/05/2023 can be canceled for a full refund the 19/05/23 before 4pm.


7. Liability

Unlimited liability applies for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health.

For slight negligence we are liable only for typical, foreseeable damages up to the amount of the booking price.

Customers use the ocean at their own risk and must follow instructor guidance.


8. Intellectual Property

All content, images and trademarks on the site are the property of Quiksilver Lagos or licensors. Any use beyond personal browsing requires prior written consent.


9. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution

Portuguese law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your EU member state remain unaffected.

The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Place of jurisdiction for traders is Lagos, Portugal.


10. Final Provisions

If any clause is invalid, the remaining clauses remain in effect. We may amend these terms for valid reasons; the version displayed at the time of booking applies.
